Perinatal Trials Toolkit - Clinical Trial Methodology

A randomised clinical trial is the gold standard for clinical trials. Conceiving and delivering a clinical trial takes coordination and planning. These resources have been compiled for those planning to undertake a trial or for those interested in learning about general trial methodology. These resources are summarised in or referred through to through toolkits.

These toolkits contain prompts to consider when setting up a trial. We highly recommend taking these points on board and engaging a team of colleagues who will help you navigate the requirements and outcomes of a clinical trial. Some of the resources you may need will be recommended in the toolkits.
