IMPACT Network Trials
The IMPACT Network aims to provide support for all trials in maternal and perinatal health across Australia and New Zealand. In addition the Network provides specific support to high quality multicentre trials focussed on research priority areas. These are identified as IMPACT Network Endorsed Trials and IMPACT Network Reviewed Trials. Click here to read more and view IMPACT Network Endorsed and Reviewed Trials.

Maternal and Perinatal Clinical Trials
PSANZ has been maintaining a trials database since the early 2000s. The database contains trials completed since that time, ongoing trials and trials yet to commence. All randomised trials based or partly based in Australia and New Zealand, and assessing interventions in the perinatal period, are included. The large number of trials in the database reflect the high level of activity and diversity of maternal and perinatal clinical trial research in Australia and New Zealand and many are led by members of the IMPACT Network.
The registry does not aim to replicate the work of trial registries but is complementary to resources such as the NHMRC-funded Australian and New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR). It can be used by consumers to identify trials of interest, investigators to identify collaborators, clinical staff wishing to engage as additional site investigators and the IMPACT Network to plan future direction and assess research priority areas.
The database was originally compiled by Philippa Middleton and Mary Paleologos and managed by Vincent Ball and Sasha Zhang of the Australian Research Centre for Health of Women and Babies (ARCH), Robinson Research Institute, at the University of Adelaide.
